At Streamside Cottage we care for children aged from babies to 5 years old. We have a full range of facilities available with individual rooms for each stage of your child's life, over 4 rooms.

We offer full day care for all children between the hours of 7:30am - 6:00pm.

Nursery Manager - Carly Blackburn

Carly has spent most of her career in Early Years and has been fortunate to work in a variety of settings that have shaped her passion and approach to the sector.

Alongside her professional experience, Carly had gained a Foundation Degree, a Degree in Early Years (BA hons), a Masters in Early Childhood Education, and a Teaching Qualification. In addition, Carly is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Sheffield, where she's currently studying Trauma Informed Practice; something she's deeply passionate about.

At the heart of her practice, Carly is a committed to wellbeing, both for children and staff. In addition, Carly is a strong advocate for approaches that prioritise children's voices and independence.
