We work in partnership with parents and schools to plan activities around the interests of the children to meet their individual leaning needs inline with the EYFS curriculum.
We provide a caring and stimulating environment which is child centred and offers a wide variety of free flow experiences. Such as baking, music, painting, drawing, physical play, making dens, clay, games, building, reading, role-play and small world imaginative play.
Through child participation and inline with the British Values we teach children the importance of respecting one another/the environment, learning right from wrong by agreeing how we want to be treated and boundaries in the setting, we encourage independence to promote self knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence, we promote democracy through having a voice and being involved in decisions which affect them, we demonstrate how to make a positive contribution by having an understanding of individuality through different cultures and believes. (please feel free to be creative with this list, it may be good to use bullet points?)
In addition to this our holiday club also has a variety of visitors to the setting such as Five Star Sport, Shuffles, Scientots, Zoo Lab, Mini First Aid, and Yoga.
