Brook Babes - Boston Spa

Whitwood House Nursery was purchased and registered as Brook Babes Nursery in 2003 due to popular demand in the area, formerly registered as a preschool now provides full daycare for 0-5 years. As part of the Whitwood House Limited Company, we also provide wrap around care and holiday club for 4-11 years at our Primrose Lane School Club in Boston Spa. 

The Rooms

Our Rooms Are Fully Equipped With Everything Needed

Here at Whitwood we cater for children aged 0 to 5 years old. We have a full range of facilities available with individual rooms for each stage of your childs life. We also have a fully equiped, home style kitchen so that we can cook those healthy home cooked meals.

We offer full day care for all children from babies to 5 years of age between the hours of 7:30am - 6:00pm. Between the hours of 8:00am-1:00pm and 1:00pm-6:00pm we also offer sessional care for children aged 2 years plus.  We highly recommend booking your place well in advance if you require sessional care.

Our Outside Area

The Children Love Our Fantastic Outside Areas
Outdoors provides exciting sensory experience for all ages giving them the space, both upwards and outwards, and places to explore, discover, be active and healthy, and to develop their physical capabilities.
Through physical activity and challenges, being outdoors helps children sleep, eat, and live more healthily. This also encourages them to form healthy habits for life and promoting a sense of well-being.

Carlyn Clarkson

Carlyn has worked at Brook Babes since 2002, Carlyn achieved her BA Hons in Social Work, Early Years Professional Status and BTEC level 3 in Childcare. As part of her continued professional development Carlyn also updates her First aid, Safeguarding, SEN and much more training regularly.
